An old Trick that many overlook!
Every Year the average household spends hundreds of Dollars on take out food, thousands on clothing just because they have a brand name attached to them and will only be in style for a season. We have become so brand oriented that we are more worried about who created or who labled it then about the state of our Pocket Book.
You can safe money be implementing some of these simple if not glamorous tips:
#1 Pack your own lunch or enjoy cooking for your family at home.
I know that many of us have a hard time finding time in this busy period of our lifes, but cooking does not have to be another chore. You can turn it into quality time if you make it into a family activity. For example, I have my daughter read a book to me or read me one of her essays she has written for school. She helps me chop of Vegetables and cooking is in our house a Mommy & Daughter catch up time. I teach her recipes or learn new ones with her together. And no that is not just for little ones either. My daughter now is 17 Years old. We have making "Mommy & Imp" time a priority in our lifes ever since she was much younger. Even married or "in love" Couples can do the same. Cook together or have one cook and the other share some of their interests with them. Single? No problem either, turn on your favorite music or stories and just enjoy the sights and smells of the food.
Home cooked meals are not just the fraction of the cost, but are also a lot healthier and tastier then a lot of the meals you purchase at your local fast food place, neighborhood restaurant etc. Leftovers make wonderful take with you lunches. Not a good cook? No problem, there are dozens of cooking shows on TV and 100's of cookbooks you can purchase.
If you love to cook and you are a Mommy & Child team like us, why not write your very own cookbook with some of your favorite contraptions for when he or she goes of to college to take. Not only is it a lovely memory, but a good reminder of easy and cheap recipes. My daughter and I are working on one currently, which we will release for sale through Lulu.com very soon.

If you need more then a free Blog!
I love free blogs and free blog hosting, but sometimes a free blog as this one or many others is just not enough and you need to find a paid hosted blog that you can trust, is reliable and doesn't have too many restrictions on their Terms. Couple that with an excellent prize or various prize hosting packages that allows you to monetize your blog and you have a winner. Get A Professional Looking Blog Today! Click on the link to be taken to the company I personally use.
I host several R and none rated Blogs with them. They do offer a free blog hosting package, but for you to actually monetize it and make it professional, you want to use one of the paid programs. The one I currently use is $4.99 a month and it is 100% of the time. The features are super easy to use and it allows you to add photos, media and more. By clicking on this link you can take advantage of a 14 Day free trial Get A Professional Looking Blog Today! and give it a try. You don't want to let it pass you by.

Make a few pennies on mylot
Have you ever wished you would have an outlet for your opinion, but don't have the time to write your own blog everyday? Maybe you are the sort of person that loves to get involved in lively discussions with wide variety of people. If that is the case why not earn yourself a couple of Pennies along the way.
No, I am not going to lie to you here and tell you this is something that will make you rich or you can make hundreds of Dollars a month. The income you will gain from this will be pretty minimal, maybe somewhere around $10 - $15 a month, but if you are looking for a community that rewards you for voicing your opinions on just about every subject imaginable and discuss many different things with people of all age groups, why not make those couple of dollars in the process.
If you have a website to promote or a product you wish to talk about this is a good place to tell people about it as well. Why not? Signing up doesn't cost anything and you can do it at your own pace.
Why not give it a try and check it out. Make sure you stop by at myLot User Profile and perhaps participate in some of my discussions already on the way.
Hope to see you there!
